First place why the hell you need this procedure. Because Ubuntu communtiy recently got few “Charbi”(Means Fat).

Long time ago in ado period. When Ubuntu start era to until 8th era. It was easy simply less in pain in ass to run internet by Dongle.

It took me to 6 year to get this answer of this pain. Why so lots so time ? Because I was rooky at that time and also kid.

But today time is different. It does’t mean I am Ninja in this field (going take some time).

So, what is reason of this question ? Because Ubuntu ditch modem or dongle preinstall driver this why it doesn’t show Tata Photon.

Step1: Download Tata Photon Plus Driver.

Download link: Photon.tar or Photon.zip

Step2: Install Tata Photon Plus Driver.

First copy Photon folder in Desktop. Then open Terminal press Ctrl+Alt+T.

cd ~/Desktop/Tata_Photon_Linux{ Giving Photon Address. }

chmod +x ./install{ Defining Installation type. }

sudo ./install{ Installation command. }

Step3: Installation procedure in Terminal.

Don’t bother by errors just enter it. Once installation complete just enter. Don’t worry for anythig. It’s done.

If you follow procedure step2 without mistake upto step3. Then you done very well..

Step4: Run Tata Photon Plus.

Goto Ubuntu Fancy menu. Go to Application department. Then go to installed software and find Tata Photon logo. Then click. Minimize it.

Step5: Internet Setting.

Click on Internet Triangle logo from above Ubuntu bar and select Edit connection.

Press Add. Then Select Mobile Broadbend. Going to show Huweai. Press Enter. Select Country. Select Tata Indicom(Photon+). Enter. Apply.

Vollaa.. Your Photon done.. You get some bar and Confirmation pop-up. Enjoy. Born-Appety…
