HopeNChange - Pop Goes the Fetus

Saturday my husband and I participated in the Protest against Planned Parenthood in our area. The turnout was impressive. I have two observations:

Of about five hundred people there, the breakdown was something like 60% white, 40% Hispanic. There was one - I will repeat, one, black person there. Considering that 35% of all Abortions are performed on blacks, that was heartbreaking on so many levels.

Second observation - It was a Peaceful Protest. No speakers, just people standing with signs and having quiet conversations. As a matter of fact - the sponsors asked us to sign a "Peace Pledge." Many complied. My spouse and I declined. After two hours we all went home and back to our lives. I saw hundreds of pictures from across the nation and it was the same. Peaceful protest and folks going home after.

And guess what? Come Monday morning the doors opened again at PP in my area so that they could perform 40 more abortions that day and every day after!

Planned Parenthood survived to "live" another day. Peaceful Protests are not enough!

A few quotes thought-worthy and meant as a challenge, of course! I will just add - this is not a left/right issue! The left has much to answer for and that's a fact, but I guarantee there were plenty of liberals attending those protests.
