The idea and the feeling of becoming a youtuber is cool and challenging which is why I will share my experience and lessons with you; I have a YouTube channel and on the day I made my first YouTube video, the first people I sent the link for subscription was obviously my friends but sadly only a few of them subscribed.

Do You know why? Because of 'OVER FAMILIARITY'.

Can anyone here remember the story of Jesus? in Luke 4, Jesus after leaving the wilderness went to his home town in Nazareth and guess what happened?

"28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29 They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff. 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way."

His own people chased him away. Why? Because they didn't believe in him.

Sad right? yeah, only because they felt they knew him, since they knew he was the son of Joseph the carpenter and his mother Mary who was just a housewife.

"22 All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked."

So how did they feel? They felt like nothing good could ever come out of Jesus (Carpenter's son) and chased him away. Without being partakers of his blessings and miracles.

How about the story of Joseph (A.K.A The Dreamer) who was rejected by his own brothers and sold out because they didn't believe in his dreams and of 'cause felt nothing good could come out of him.

Or is it David, who when he made a proclamation of killing Goliath. No one believed him especially his Family.

Lessons

In this life, not everyone will be in support of you, oh especially those you call friends and family. Not everyone is happy you are focused and chasing your goals. Not everyone believes in your dreams.

Now, to you those who are about to start up that great business or project;

Don't be disappointed when your friends or family members are the least supportive to you. Don't be surprise when strangers are the ones patronizing your business or carrying it on their heads like 'World Cup'.

Instead, keep trusting God, keep pushing, keep chasing that goal, keep working hard, keep enduring all the persecutions, failures and disappointments.

Do you know why? Because your best is yet to come, you are going to places, the works of your hands are blessed and all you do shall prosper.
