EASTER SUNDAY…It is true, pretty much all religions, lifestyles, belief systems, and faiths lead eventually to the same place, the wide Path that according to the Bible most people will take – it is the path to destruction, hell, eternal damnation, eternal suffering and punishment. Wow, what a thing to say on Easter Sunday. There is only ONE other path, a very narrow path with NO TOLERANCE, extremely EXCLUSIVE that leads to a different end. It is the reason we celebrate EASTER! Google “Easter” and all that is displayed is bunnies, colored eggs, and candy. That is not the path I refer to. No, this day is to celebrate the FACT witnessed personally by hundreds of people who testified even to their death that it was true – the day JESUS Christ conquered death after the ONLY sacrifice that would provide the ONLY way man had hope of being reconciled to GOD, the all powerful, exclusive creator of the entire universe which He simply spoke into existence. After man sinned, the world became hopelessly broken and man was terminally separated from fellowship with this righteous God despite any efforts man made. But God’s plan from before anything was made, was to send His own son to ransom those who He would call to salvation to eternal life with Him in Heaven.
This is an exclusive group. There will not be a single solitary atheist in Heaven, not a soul there that is a humanist, no muslims at all, no buddists, no hindus, no mormons, no witches, not a single confusionist, no christian scientists, no voodoo-ists, no wicca, no Hare Krishnas, not even orthodox Judaism believers, nope. Why? Jesus said this crystal clear and without any apology, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; NO ONE comes to the Father but through Me.: John 14:6.
There is great news though, Jesus came to call and ransom people that were liars, cheaters, adulterers, self righteous, proud, thieves, arrogant, mean, angry, tired, sick, gluttons, child abusers, murderers, jews, witches, Satanist, muslims, hindus, hare krishnas, humanists, naturalists, evolutionists, even car salesmen, politicians, and lawyers. But it has to be HIS WAY, the ONLY way – by the name of JESUS the CHRIST – His life, His death, His Resurrection! No Other Way at all! Sorry but it is true – check it out for yourself – read his letters to you – The Bible tells this story from cover to cover. It is a love story from a God to desperate, wayward, self righteous, proud people from all nations and all walks of life calling them to simply believe in His Son and to enter His rest and eventually be with Him in Glory, in Heaven for all eternity.
The Wide Path is very real, very tragic, and very permanent. Suffering that will never end for rejecting a God who graciously offered His most loved Son as a sacrifice for your soul.
