Critical Race Theory, According To Constative Pastor John Piper.


Church a lot of people tend to reject Critical Race Theory in ways that they would strongly criticize if others rejected their views similarly. John Piper insinuating that the technical term “Critical Race Theory” is a mere pejorative, combined with his falsely equating unborn-infant murder with mean Tweets from the President, tells us *exactly* what his aim is. This is career politics, not a principled objection, and his attempted justifications for it are incredibly weak. I wonder how much money they offered. Conservative evangelicals John Piper insinuating that the technical term “Critical Race Theory” is a mere pejorative, combined with his falsely equating unborn-infant murder with mean Tweets from the President, tells us *exactly* what his aim is. This is career politics, not a principled objection, and his attempted justifications for it are incredibly weak.  I’ve seen many conservative evangelicals straightforwardly reject critical race theory in this fashion: they locate some objectionable features or expressions of critical race theory, and then they generalize these features or expressions to all of the critical race theory, or at least they make these features or expressions essential to critical race theory. And then they say things like critical race theory is a worldview according to which [list objectionable features or expressions here]
