Reader here we go again, a well known pastor from an Oak Cliff Church was found dead Wednesday afternoon in a motel room, according to police . The Rev. Darick Favors, 42, was found dead about noon in the 7600 block of South Central Expressway, near Illinois Avenue, police said. The incident is being investigated as an unexplained death. There were no obvious signs of homicidal violence, police said. According to his wife things are being done without her consent and she's asking that the public please show her family mercy.The Dallas County medical examiner's office had not ruled on the cause of death. Investigators say they are awaiting toxicology tests, which could take weeks.
