The History of Wales by the BBC is a really beautiful and moving story of the history of the Welsh people, a group of hill tribes in western Britain who tried for 1000 years to establish an independent nation and failed, eventually being crushed and subjugated and incorporated into the English kingdom.

It also happens to be more moving than another speech about sinas chinam and all the horrible things we’ll never get rid of but we can feel guilty about today to feel all tishey bavdik. You can visit gorgeous beaches and castles and pubs in Wales instead. Or at least watch it for a few hours to space out your masturbations. Makes you feel bad when they’re too close together on tisha bav.
