In my dispair, in my bleeding sorrow and seemingly hopeless moments of life,

May I always praise You O Beloved.

The forgetfulness of my human nature amidst the joys and delights of life given as a gift, or the sufferings caused and brought by my own hands - may they not prevent me from praising You more and more -

For I have been give the knowing of the meaning of Your blessed kalam that declares:

"Sami Allah huliman hamida."

For me it echoes heart and soul quenching assurance:

"The Beloved is listening ever so intently to every praise flowing through you and me."

Is that not enough for us to dive deep into His praise and glory in every night and day,
In every moment, near and far away.
