My Apologies

Well, I probably don't have any readers left after neglecting you for 6 months, so many Apologies to any who are still out there.
For a long time it was just the routine of getting resettled here, scouting around to replace all the stuff we had given away, and I also was right back into full time hospital work for several months while the boss had major surgery. He's back now, so there is much less hospital work but...
Lo and behold, the Hispanic Charismatic Renewal is celebrating 40 years since the Renewal began in the Catholic Church and they have begun to remember that we were involved in the very beginnings in Mexico.

So interesting and irresistible invitations are beginning to trickle in. We're just back from giving three talks in a two day workshop for leaders in Los Angeles. Lots of fun, very satisfying, and a bitter disappointment in the weather. It was in the 30's and 40's the whole time! UGH!

Gotta confess, I was also in a fuzzy cloud for quite a while, trying to get my mind around going BACK to the US, after putting all my strength into LEAVING the US and sticking it out in Mexico for the 4th time. But this was the first time ever that I hadn't really wanted to go. It was a 16 month battle with my own feelings and with the bugs.

So I'll try to be more faithful in keeping up this blog. It is partly an account of our doings, but, more importantly, a look at what we discern God is or might be doing in our lives. The latter is by far the more interesting enterprise.

Well, as we say in the chat interchanges: TTFN! (ta ta for now)

Your erstwhile, long disappeared correspondent
