I was just helping my wife in the kitchen, but I read recipes the same way I read science fiction books. I get to the end and I say to myself, “Well, that’s not going to happen.” So I decided to come and do some book searching and I found  10 of the best action books for you to read this April; according to Amazon, some of them were new releases from March, so you might not have heard about them.

I selected these books because they have great customer reviews and are selling extremely well on Amazon. Some of the main criteria that I use to select fiction books are the customer reviews and their flow of sale; they don’t have to be Best Sellers, but they have to have a great acceptance by the readers. Even though some of them have a few negative reviews, I try to keep customer acceptance close to 100% in order to publish and promote a book.

Omega Force: The Human Factor (OF8)

Captain Jason Burke is a man apart, and not just because he's the only of his kind for thousands of light-years in any direction. He learns through back channel information that Earth may be in danger, and worse, that he may have been a contributing factor. This seems to be a great action Story, it has a great Rating, 5.0 out of 5 stars, as one of the reviewers said: “This was great, full of action, the expected humor, new characters, a new enemy, and a new future for Jason's Earth that I cannot wait to see how it all plays out.”

Destroyer (The Void Wraith Trilogy, Book 1)

This is another best seller space adventure where mankind’s outer colonies are disappearing, without warning, without a trace. As one of the reviewers put it: “The chapters are short and addictive and once you start you just have to know what happens next.” Currently selling 225 copies per day and with a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars, definitely, this seems to be a great book to read.

Canyon: A Post-Apocalyptic / Dystopian Adventure (The Traveler Book 2)

Marcus Battle has left behind his home. Now he’s on a seemingly impossible mission to find a missing child. But can he balance that responsibility with his deep, primal desire to exact revenge on the men who destroyed his solitary existence? He’s homeless, he’s on the run, and he wants revenge. Canyon is a great Post-Apocalyptic story, it seems to have a lot of action. It’s now selling 137 copies per day, putting it on the top best seller’s list. Great book to read this April.

Galactic Empire Wars: Insurrection (The Galactic Empire Wars Book 5)

“The final battle between the Humans and the Zaltule is drawing near. However, the Arachnids have a secret that will ensure victory and allow them to wipe out the Human race once and for all.” This book has gone to the top in a short time, becoming a best seller with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars making it a great galactic story for this month of April.

Z-Burbia 7: Sisters of the Apocalypse

It seems like people are enjoying these apocalyptic stories these days; here is another great one; the end of the world is close. The dead walk the Earth, feasting on the living. Rogue bands of crazies, gangs of cannibals, and evil organizations fight for what is left of civilization. Blood and violence are the laws of the land. Those that survive must do things that no sane person should be forced to do. Well, nice story for those who like apocalyptic stuff. This book has a 5 star rating and it’s now selling an average of 70 copies per day. Good choice to read!

Freedom Express (Book 2 of the Humanity Unlimited Saga)

When a mistake sends Jess and her team careening out of the solar system, Harry must race to save her. His frantic search will take him deep below the surface of Mars and then far beyond the Red Planet in ways he never imagined possible. This seems to be another great action & adventure story, as one of the reviewers stated: “Freedom Express is just a lot of fun to read” This book was published a few weeks ago, on March 20, 2016, and it currently has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars with only 8 customer reviews.

Europa Collective 1 - Collective Flight

This one seems to be another great space exploration story, according to the description: “Malone Kay is a husband, father, and mechanic struggling to make a living on the far outpost world of Carrefour when the foundations of his world are shaken to their core. Harry Heron: Into the Unknown

This book has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars and I think you’ll probably enjoy this one; as one of the reviewers stated: “I found myself becoming more and more absorbed by the way the Patrick transported his reader between time periods, not an easy thing to do without being confusing.”

The Scattered and the Dead (Book 1): A Post-Apocalyptic Series

Well, don’t blame me for publishing all these Post-Apocalyptic stories, I’m going through the list of hot new releases and people seem to be loving them. Here is another great action book; according to the description: “With 99.7% of the Earth's population dead and gone, the few who remain struggle to survive in an empty world. The scattered. The leftovers. These are their stories.” We have the typical Post-Apocalyptic story, but this one seems to include younger protagonists. This book is selling well, 103 copies per day and it has a great rating, 4.9 out of 5 stars.

The Indomitable Ten: A Superhero / Super villain Novella Anthology

I don’t know if you’ve seen this one, but it seems to me that there’s something great going on here; if you like Superhero stories that is. This book was written by 11 authors and according to the description, this is a tantalizing anthology of novellas that will take you on a wild ride through ten amazing worlds brought to you by science fiction and fantasy greats like J.R. Rain, Kris Carey, Jesse Baruffi, Richard Roberts, Karpov Kinrade, Jim Bernheimer, Samantha Bryant, Rick Gualtieri, Drew Hayes, S.L. Dunn, and A.E. Propher. This book currently has a rating of 4.9 stars, so it seems to be doing pretty well, go check it out!
