DON’T FALL INTO THE YO-YO DIET TRAP



So, are you a teenager and you’re overweight? Then, you got big issues… BIG ISSUES, and I don’t mean to be negative or anything like that, but you’re in for a long ride, and I’m here to show you the way because I already went through that yo-yo Diet crap—but, what exactly is a “yo-yo diet?” Well, for those of you who don’t know, a yo-yo diet is when you go on a diet, lose the weight, and gain it right back within a few months.

This continues to happen over and over again, leaving you frustrated every time you gain the weight back. If you’re a teenager, chances are that you will lose those extra pounds as you grow, but once you hit 20, you’ll gain it back. You will then go on a diet and lose it, but within a few years, or maybe months, regain it again. That cycle will continue for God knows how long, and by the time you get to be 40, your skin will be hanging like a monkey on a coconut tree.

You’re probably thinking that this will not happen to you. You’re young and invincible, you got the World at your feet, and life is a big party right now. You’ve probably lost the weight and swear that those days of being fat are over, but… yeah… right!—I’ll be seeing you a few years from now reading this same article and trying to figure out what the hell did you do wrong… but it’s not that you did something wrong… you were just not paying attention.

Speaking of, “NOT PAYING ATTENTION,” that’s exactly the reason why you gain the weight back… how do I know? Ask me how many times I went through that already, and the answer is: I lost track of it, but I’ve finally managed to keep the extra weight off. The problem is always the same. We think that we have already overcome our weight problem and we lower our guard, so we fall into the yo-yo diet trap. This happens because we simply ignore that obesity is in your genes… in other words, you’re programed to be fat.

I know you’re not going to like what I have to say, but it’s the truth. Your battle with obesity will last for a lifetime. It’s not until you understand this that you will conquer because you will never lower your guard again. When it comes to fighting overweight issues, you’ll need to be persistent. The key to staying fit is to stay in control all the time. Don’t think for a minute that you’ve already won the battle because there’s no such thing, and if you think that you already have, you’re going to lose again and again, so get it together and fight till you die.
