| Devotees Flow into River Godavari Flow at Bhadrachalam 22-07- 2015 is the a memorable day in my life as i went to Godavari Maha Pushklara Yatra with my family and other Ashramam members. As per Hindu beliefs Pushkaram is a festival of river pertains to 12 important rivers in Indiawhich occurs once in 12 years for each river. The river for each year festival is based on the presence of Jupiter on which Zodiac sign by that time.The Pushkaram starts from the period when the jupiter enters in that particular Zodiac sign. For Example when jupiter enter into "Leo Zodiac Sign" then the Godavari Pushkarams Starts. For Leo Zodiac sign ruler is the Sun. So as River Ganges PuShkaraalu .i.e KuMbhamela, The Godavari pushkaralu also considered very auspicious one. As per Hindu Texts This term Godavari Pushkaralu is called "Maha Pushkaralu" which comes for every 144 years. yesterday i completed my pious duty i.e offering pinda tarpana to my ancestors , after taking holy dip at Godavari river Ghat. Our Journey from our Ashramam at Garloddu To Bhadrachalam got delayed due to heavy Traffic on National High way 221. How ever we reached the Bhadrachalam took holy bath in Godavari water and returned safely. This is a Memorable event in our life. . The images of our Maha Pushkara Trip is given below. . |
