| A Prayer For Revolution |
I pray Dear God
That my land gives birth
A new generation
Of Gandhis;
May it become a nation
Of Mother Theresias,
And filled with,
Martin Luther Kings,
Let it be a state
Where every citizen
Lives the true spirit of Jesus.
Show us each day
One thing we can do like
Gandhi,
And one small act like
Mother Theresa.
Help each of us
To do deeds of love
Like Jesus did.
Guide us to daily
Contribute in some way
To a revolution of love
Redefining this land
By selfless acts
Of kindness,
Compassion,
Charity,
And sacrifice.
