This morning I am sitting in the Presence of God and my gratitude is pouring out to Him for His presence right now in this room with me.  And how He is totally focusing on me in this room.  I have His attention, alone, not having to share it with anyone. I suddenly began to wonder how people live without God in their life.  Without being able to call Him in the middle of the night when their body is wrecked with pain and they feel like they can’t even breathe.  How do they do it when their children are running the street and they don’t know where they are or who they are with?  How do you do it? I don’t know how I ever lived without Him.  Without His promises, without His filling me to enable me to go through another day with hope and strength to get up and serve people, my family and friends or to even love.
