This week a formerly homeless man, Mike Yung, got a Record Deal at 56 years old after singing in the subway for over 20 years. It reminded me of the many people I have encountered that can Sing beautifully. In fact some of them can “sang”! But they’ve never gotten a record deal or traveled outside of their hometown to perform. Have you ever thought about how throughout the world there are thousands and thousands of people who have beautiful singing voices that never get “discovered”? Is it that they have this exceptional Talent just so they can sing for family and friends and YouTube? The fact is any talent we have, we only have it to glorify God with. There are people all over the world who play instruments, dance, sing, write, paint and never make a living at it. God is not wasteful. He wouldn’t give you a talent for you to waste it.
