The New Age Movement: A Crash Course

“Harmony and understanding, sympathy and trust abounding. No more falsehoods or derisions, golden living dreams of visions. Mystic crystal revelations, and the mind’s true liberations.

This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.” – Fifth Dimension, Age of Aquarius

Sound familiar? Anyone born before 1980 should (like me) remember hearing the above song played on their parents’ car radio, cause when you’re a kid being carted around by Mom and Dad, you have no choice but to listen to their music. Often times, their music meant the Oldies station. I remember loving the song too, especially the end when the vocalists practically invoked the sun to “shine in.” The harmony quite literally gave me goose bumps, but being a kid, I had no idea what I was hearing. These singers were, in actuality, invoking the sun.

Invoking what’s referred to as the Age of Aquarius.

What is the Age of Aquarius?

I do not want to bog you down with too much information, dear reader. I simply want to give you the Cliff Notes for what is referred to as the New Age Movement (aka, the Age of Aquarius), how the movement has manifested, and what you should look out for to make a prudent, Christian judgement of the world around you. Should you want more information, feel free to reach out to me. Let’s get started.

Put bluntly, the Age of Aquarius is (quite literally) the “new” age, when the sun has moved from the house of Pisces into the house of Aquarius (please forgive the gobbily-gookish verbiage, but I am not an astrologer). Proponents of the New Age Movement believe the 2,000 years of Christian culture were rooted in Pisces, and the culture must be “shaken off” (so to speak) to make room for a new era (the era of Aquarius), when mankind will become more enlightened and realize the “Christ consciousness” within.

Yeah.

Perhaps most astounding to the Christian mind is how these New Agers regard the word “Christ.” To the Christian, Christ is the name given to the Son of God (Jesus, the “anointed One.”) There has only been one Christ, and no one else deserves the title. To the New Ager, however, the Christ is not so exclusive. The “Christ consciousness” is bestowed upon various leaders throughout history, and the man Jesus merely one of several “masters” descended upon earth to guide humanity closer towards said consciousness. Which means the New Agers are expectant of another “Christ” to enter the scene, and the movement is paving the path for him.

“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” – 1 John 2:22

The New Age Movement is smothered with pantheism – the ancient pagan belief which states God is not a separate intelligence which created the universe, but rather, He is the universe and all creation. The Christian believes the Holy Spirit resides within each baptized soul, but the pantheist believes God is each person, regardless of belief. God is you, me, the dog, the trees, the air. God is, therefore, watered down while humanity is exalted. No longer must humanity fear the Lord, for you see, we are our own lords!
To understand the central belief of the movement, we must go back to the beginning. Hardcore New Agers view the Fall in the garden somewhat (okay…totally) backwards from Christianity. When the serpent tempted Eve, he was (to the New Age Movement) doing humanity a favor. God was being stingy with His knowledge, and the serpent was simply empowering Adam and Eve to “find their inner god.” So you see, beneath all the peace and hugs and “everyone share a Coke” of the New Age Movement is a genuine exaltation of Lucifer, whom the movement regards as the “light bearer.”

Implications of the New Age Movement

You might be asking, “Why should I care if these hippies want to carry around crystals and worship trees?” Dear reader, I wish the situation were so benign. Besides demoting God to a mere “consciousness within” (which is blasphemous enough), there are New Age operations being executed worldwide and on various stages, most notably political. The United Nations, for example, appears like a collection of countries working together towards the betterment of worldwide humanity (a typical guise of the New Age Movement, “harmony and understanding…”), however the collective is anything but.

I will explain more later, but for now, allow me to introduce you to one of the “mothers” of the New Age Movement, Alice Bailey, her outrageous “10-Point Charter” for ushering in the new age, and the frightening proof of how her dream has become reality.

Alice Bailey (June 16, 1880 – December 15, 1949) was one of the first writers to author the term, New Age. She and her husband (a 32nddegree Freemason) together founded Lucifer Publishing Company, which she later changed to Lucis Trust (because, I suppose, “Lucifer” was bad for marketing). Through the company, she published 25 books rooted in the occult, astrology, the destiny of nations, and “prescriptions” for ushering society towards the Age of Aquarius. Each of her writings were (according to Bailey) transcribed telepathically via her “Master of Wisdom” – a spirit which she called Djwal Khul (or as I call, a demon, but I digress).

The crux of Bailey’s work was the insistence upon a one-world religion, which would provide the glue for a one-world government to foster a spirit of unity and harmony among persons (although Bailey had a vocalized distaste for Jews, but why split hairs?) To usher in the New Age, she insisted upon the removal of Christianity from the world stage, considering the religion to be the one obstacle along the “new Christ’s” path. I quote:

“…some hard blow or some difficult presentation of the truth is badly needed if the Christian world is to be awakened, and if Christian people are to recognize their place within a worldwide divine revelation and see Christ as representing all the faiths and taking His rightful place as World Teacher. He is the World Teacher and not a Christian teacher.” – Alice Bailey, The Reappearance of the Christ

Most of Bailey’s career was spent devising what she dubbed “The Plan,” which is a 10-step guide towards preparing the world for the entrance of the “new Christ.” I have already written ad nauseam, and you are no doubt becoming tired of reading, but I must insist you take note of the following. When you have finished reading, ask yourself whether these 10 points are mere fantasy in Bailey’s mind or a frightening reality.

“10-Point Plan” by Alice Bailey

1. Take God and prayer out of the education system. – “Change curriculum to ensure that children are freed from the bondage of Christian culture. Why? Because children go to school to be equipped to face life, they are willing to trust, and they are willing to value what is being given to them. If you take God out of education, they will unconsciously form a resolve that God is not necessary to face life. They will focus on those things the school counts them worthy to be passed on, and they will look at God as an additional, if one can afford the additional.”

2. Reduce parental authority over the children. – “Break the communication between parent and child. Why? So that parents do no pass on their Christian traditions to their children. Liberate children from the bondage of their parent traditions. How?
  • Promote excessive child rights.
  • Abolish corporal punishment.
  • Teachers are the agents of implementation.

3. Destroy the Judeo-Christian family structure or the traditional Christian family structure. – “Why? It is oppressive and the family is the core of the nation. If you break the family, you break the nation. Liberate the people from the confines of this structure. How?
  • "Promote sexual promiscuity. Free young people to the concept of premarital sex, let them have free sex, lift it so high that the joy of enjoying it is the highest joy in life, fantasize it, that everybody will feel proud to be seen to be sexually active, even those outside of marriage.”
  • "Use advertising industry, media, t.v., magazines, film industry to promote sexual enjoyment as the highest pleasure in humanity.”

4. If sex is free, then make abortion legal and make it easy. – “Build clinics for abortion, health clinics in schools. If people are going to enjoy the joy of sexual relationships, they need to be free of unnecessary fears. In other words, they should not be hampered with unwanted pregnancies. Abortion as told by Christians is oppressive and denies our rights. We have a right to choose whether we want to have a child or not. If a woman does not want the pregnancy, she should have the freedom to get rid of that pregnancy as painless and easy as possible.”

Sound familiar?

5. Make divorce easy and legal. Free people from the concept of marriage for life. – “Love has got a mysterious link called the ‘love bond.’ It is like an ovum that comes out of the ovary. As it travels through your system, it clicks a love favor in you and there’s one other person in the world who can respond to that love bond. You’ll never be happy until that love bond cycle’s past, for many years, so for you to be happy, get that person at whatever cost. If it means getting him/her out of that marriage, get him/her. That is your man/woman."

6. Make homosexuality an alternative lifestyle. – “Sexual enjoyment is the highest pleasure in humanity; no one must be denied, and no one must be restricted how to enjoy themselves. People should be allowed in whichever way they choose, whether it is homosexuality or incest or bestiality, as long as the two agree.”

(Question about bestiality: How do you know the goat consents? Whatever, I don’t wanna know.)

Continued, “In the world today, so many laws have been made that promote homosexuality and give so much freedom to gay rights, that a time will come when it is illegal for a preacher to mention homosexuality as an abomination in the eyes of God, or to read scriptures publicly that talk about homosexuality. At the international scene, Western nations now sanction African countries that have resisted homosexuality, with threats of withdrawing foreign aid and investments. Today, many churches marry gays/lesbian and ordain gay priests.”

7. Debase art; make it run mad. – “How? Promote new forms of art which will corrupt and defile the imagination of people. Because art is the language of the spirit, that which is inside, you can bring out in painting, music, drama etc.”

8. Use media to promote and change mindset. – “The greatest channel you need to use to change human attitude is media. Use the press, the radio, t.v., cinema.”

9. Create an interfaith movement. – “Promote other faiths to be at par with Christianity, and break this thing about Christianity as being the only way to heaven. By that, Christianity will be pulled down and other faiths promoted. Tell man he has the right to choose what he wants to be and he can make it happen. He has the right to determine his cause – this takes God off His throne.”

10. Get governments to make all these laws and get the Church to endorse these changes. – “The Church must change its doctrine and accommodate the people by accepting these things and put them into its structures and systems.”

I ask you, has she succeeded?

Ladies and gentlemen, what you have just read is referred to as the Luciferian Agenda…and the agenda is alive and well. I was thinking of dissecting each, examining how each has come to fruition, but not necessary. You know good and well. I will, instead, pray about what I will next write. The topic of the New Age Movement and the related objectives is no easy task, but with God’s help, I intend to open your eyes to the reality. Just know this…we are tribulation saints. While I hate to bring gloom and doom to your otherwise sunny dispositions, we are in a war “against powers and principalities,” as Saint Paul warned. We must put on the full armor of God, educate ourselves, plead our Mother Mary and brother and sister saints, watch, discern, and pray.

“Little children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming. Even now, many antichrists have come by which we know that it is the last hour.” – 1 John 2:18

But have no fear, for He has conquered the world.
