Australian Shiite Imam Mohammad Tawhidi has said that Palestine belongs to the Jewish people.

The Iranian-born Sheikh Tawhidi said this while speaking at the Rotary Club of Adelaide, Australia.

Imam Mohammad Tawhidi: “This will get me in trouble – I have never said this before – but Palestine is Jewish land. I mean, come on, who doesn’t know this? Jesus came to Jerusalem. He came to the Israelites who were there. It is Jewish land.

Imam Tawhidi is a graduate of the Islamic seminary in Qom, Iran, and is the Imam of the Islamic Association of South Australia.
