I once heard a preacher say, “If you haven’t been through a Storm keep on living.” My granny also used to tell me all the time when we discussed life’s problems, “keep on livin.” I even had a substitute teacher say the same thing. As I grow older I realize the wisdom behind those words.
Storms are scary, but it is good to know that you can trust God during the storm. Sometimes things can get destroyed during a storm, but if you survive, you have an opportunity to live again. You may not have what you had before, but you have the opportunity to live again.  

Scripture: “Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:28-30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Prayer for those in going through a storm: Father God in Heaven. Thank you for being you. Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we may have salvation. Lord forgive us for any sins that may hinder you from hearing our prayer. Help us to forgive those that need our forgiveness. Give us the endurance it takes to weather the storm. Be our comfort as we wait patiently to come out through the other side of the storm. Give us peace regardless of the outcome. We ask that your will be done. In Jesus name. Amen.
