One of my favorite Christmas movies is Elf. Buddy the Elf dresses up in normal clothes and goes to work with his real dad. When the phone rings in his dad’s office, he picks it up and answers it …

“Buddy the Elf, What’s your Favorite Color?”

So this day is about answering your phone the same way Buddy the Elf Did. You can even change the name to reflect yours or a creative elf name. Or maybe like me, I am Steve. I can say Steve the Elf, What’s your favorite color? You can do it the same way he did it and use his name!

This day is held annually on December 18. I am unsure who first created this holiday or even when it first started. Maybe an Elf made this day up?

Might want to check with your work, as they may not want you to answer the phone that way. But at least, you can answer your personal phone that way.
