Chassidus
Reb Mendel was a famous Chabad Mashpia (mentor) and Chossid. One time, a student saw him giving charity to someone and he asked Reb Mendel why he gave it to him. You might imagine that a Torah mentor would answer, "I am obligated to give charity!" or "It's a mitzvah to give charity," but that's not what he said. He said, "Because he needed it."
Kindness is the essence of Chassidism. And when you want to see Hashem's kindness to you increase, show Him your increasing kindness for others.
