James asked;
What is the most important focus in this time?
Adding a new mitzvah?
Perfecting the existing ones?
Focusing on the Unity Inherent in All?
Simple acts of Mercy/Kindness/Charity?
Meditation to stay calm amidst chaos?
Gutman's reply:
Always, the most important mitzvah to do is the one at hand, i.e., the one you are doing.
All of the things on your list are good, however, at this time, a Jew loving his fellow Jew is particularly essential as it will especially help to Bring Jews together. Hashem sends us these horrible, evil people to unite us. When we fight with each other these evils bring us back together. If we would stay united, we would not need to have these horrible things happen.
Hashem watch over all of us, especially at these times of war.
