There is a disagreement among the sages whether or not we are Obligated to be happy on Chanukah.

     Well, let's say that the Rabbis who say we are not obligated to be happy on this holiday are right, and still, we are happy. What happened? We had a great time!

     Or, let's say that the rabbis who say we are obligated to be happy on Chanukah are right, and we are not happy! OY! Oy! Oy! We blew it!

     What's the point? You can't go wrong by being happy!
