Dorje Shugden Mandala

Within the Praise of Dorje Shugden called Infinite Aeon, Kyabje Dakpo Kelsang Kedrub Rinpoche wrote, “Through the power of having completed Guhyasamaja’s two stages, You would not be silenced, and showed signs of heroism, praise to you!” Kyabje Dakpo Rinpoche was referring to the previous incarnations of Dorje Shugden who were accomplished lamas and siddhas that had mastered the Guhyasamaja Tantras. The realisation of this tantra would mean that he had accomplished the Illusory Body, which in turn created the cause for him to arise with the body of a Buddha. This is the result of having accomplished the advanced meditations of the completion stage of Guhyasamaja’s practice, during which one’s psychic energies are gathered in the central channel and dissolved into the indestructible drop within the heart. The subtle energies at a certain point in the meditations arise in the form of the yidam (meditational) deity, in this case Guhyasamaja. From this point onwards, through meditation on emptiness, combined with the mind of clear light, one rapidly gains liberation and ultimately complete enlightenment.
