In The Footsteps Of Joseph Rock

Dear friends around the world, I have an interesting blog post here for you. Have you ever read a book and felt incredibly connected to its content and message? Not all of us may have had this Strong experience however, unless we have a very strong imprint of the particular topic perhaps from another time. In the case of Michael Woodhead, reading the story of Joseph Rock’s adventures in China reshaped his thoughts, and moved him to pack his bags and fly to the Far East. I like that. Just do it Michael! What Michael Woodhead experienced is a classic example of a strong imprint manifesting. After all, if adventure was all Mr Woodhead sought, many other places could have offered such experiences; and China in the 1990s was not exactly the top choice for tourism. And yet, he felt a strong urge to travel to an unknown village in China. Michael Woodhead’s journey was not always smooth sailing though, and there were times when he just narrowly escaped death.
