The working definition of Proactive Structural Change is the deliberate process of creating new and different internal thoughts, feelings and actions, and or external conditions, circumstances and environments, designed to improve results based on specific desires.

In other words, we first decide what we want. We look to be, do or have more in our lives. It can be money, career, relationships, or even a shiny new bicycle. Once we decide on the object of our desire, we begin the process of creating change in our life to become the person who is ready to receive the desired object.

What do we need to change? The answer is, everything we need to in order to make what we want a reality. Sometimes we need to change our thoughts, feelings or actions. We can’t get what we want by being the person we are right now. If that were the case, we would already have the thing. So something must change inside of us.

Sometimes, we do make the necessary internal changes. We change the thoughts we have; or we change our beliefs and create desire and faith; maybe we start doing the things necessary to bring about the desired want; and sometimes that might not be enough. Externally we may need to move to another geographic area. We might need to get rid of negative people and associate with different, positive people. We might need to quit a job that is holding us back.

There are all sorts of things that need to change to bring about the desired result. Many people will never know what needs to be changed because they never take the time learn what needs to be changed. As a result, they never experience all the wonderful abundance that the world has to offer.

This learning process is a very personal endeavor. It is different for everyone. Even if I tried to follow someone else’s example, to obtain a similar result as they did, I would need to change different things about myself.
