Dear Friends,

 It is good to be writing to you again this week. You are always in my prayers that God may bless you and your family and all your loved ones with joy and peace.

 The attached input for the weekly Couple Prayer and Newsletter piece brings us into March and into Lent. Wednesday, March 2^nd is Ash Wednesday, a very special time for us in our faith journey. This input is a really good preparation for Lent as it hits at the very core of our efforts to build our relationships of love and faith in ways that will bring hope. It is a call to stop putting one another down and to practice building one another up by how we talk to one another and act towards one another. There can be no better resolution to make for the weeks of Lent.

 You will be in my thoughts and prayers each day of the week ahead. May God be with you to help you carry any burdens you may have and to fill your hearts with peace and with gladness in your marriage and/or family life. Thank you for all your bring to the rest of us. Please continue to prayer for me and for one another.

Hej allihopa,

Fr. Johnny utmanar oss den här veckan bland annat skriver han:  Praise and thanksgiving lead to joy,  happiness and peace. The same is true in our life with one another, in our parish and community.  That is what Christ calls us to.   Lovprisning och tacksamhet leder till glädje och frid. Detsamma gäller vårt liv med varandra i vår församling och kommunitet. Detta är vad Jesus kallar oss till.

Vi ber för fred i Ukraina.  Herre, var med det Ukrainska folket.  Tack för det mod och den generositet de visar varandra. Vi ber att du griper in på något sätt.  Vi ber för dem som tillhör våra församlingar. Låt dem känna sig burna av våra böner. Du vet vad finns i våra hjärtan. Det är svårt att hitta de rätta orden. Låt det inte bli värre och låt visdom och bra omdöme råda. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Förbön behövs för P som har det väldigt svårt just nu.  Herre, vi överlämnar P och hennes föräldrar till dig.  Var med dem och låt din Helige Ande leda dem. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på dig,

Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen och frid på jorden. Ge alla världens ledare visdom och bra omdöme.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Your Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och vi skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.
