Genesis 30 vs 1

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

  1. Rachael envied her sister, Leah, because of her barrenness. Both of them (Rachael and Leah) were wives of Jacob. While Racheal was barren, Lean was very fruitful.
  2. Rachael was angry with Jacob for being barren instead of turning her anger into prayers.
  3. Rachael asked Jacob to give her children rather than asking God.
  4. Rachael said the wrong prayers. She prayed to Jacob rather than to God.
  5. Rachael also made a negative confession after prayer.
  6. She prayed for children at the same time, prayed for death.
  7. Whatsoever is bothering you, turn it from anger to prayer.
