Making water fasting EASIER!



Let me begin by prefacing this:  I've never heard of an easy fast of any sort, but there is a way  to greatly reduce the Physical difficulty of water fasting. Just a few simple steps and all of this is to be done prior to your fast

1. Reduce the intake of junk food, processed food, alcohol & caffeine
2.walk
3.eat ONLY Fruit for 1-3 days prior to your fast. **This is the most important step, see below. **


One of the easiest ways to make your fast easier is to only eat fruit 1-3 days prior to your fast and do gentle exercise like walking or if you already work out regularly, continue your normal workout routine.  By doing this, you are assisting your body into depleting your body of glucose/glycogen stores and helping your body to enter into ketosis much sooner than the typical three days it takes to enter ketosis.

what is ketosis you ask?   Simply put: ketosis is when your body starts to burn FAT for energy instead of the leftover junk/food you have left in your body.     By consuming an all fruit diet prior to your fast and adding gentle exercise, you can enter ketosis up to 24-48 hours sooner than you normally would.     You can eat as much fruit as you want, even have some fresh orange juice (try to drink organic orange juice.)   Eating an all fruit diet helps you to enter into ketosis faster because it digests really quickl. Add in the exercise to further assist your body in burning off the fruit and the remaining glycose/glycogen stores.  This way when you start fasting,there's nothing left to digest and your body can go straight to work burning off fat and other toxic substances (like disease) that you have in your body. 

And how is entering ketosis sooner beneficial to you??   It means you won't have to suffer the usual physical symptoms of entering into ketosis which includes the Hunger Pangs, the stomach growling, and the physical desire to eat.

Now, I'm not saying you won't have any detox symptoms because those vary from person to person, but you can nip the physical hunger pangs in the bud right from the start.   I don't know about you, but to me that would make Water Fasting much easier.   In fact, I wish I had known about this method when I first started fasting, maybe then it wouldn't have taken me as long to finally complete a lengthy fast.
