Positive Social Media App, SelfHelpster, Ushers in an Era of Compassionate Social Media

Social media has become both the connective tissue and Achilles heel of modern life. Comparison culture can be problematic for mental health, yet connection is vitally important for mental health.

This conundrum begs the question – what’s the solution?

Fortunately, SelfHelpster has emerged as a beacon of hope. The positive social media app will officially launch in the first week of October, and its mission is simple: to create a new era of mindful and empathetic online engagement.

A Reflection of Changing Times

The launch of SelfHelpster couldn’t be timelier. Social media, once hailed as a means of connection and expression, has increasingly become a double-edged sword.

The cacophony of divisive debates, comparison culture, and the relentless pursuit of likes and followers has taken a toll on our collective psyche. A growing number of users report feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from their authentic selves.

These concerns have given rise to a longing for something more meaningful, something that resonates with the human spirit on a deeper level. SelfHelpster addresses this yearning by infusing the digital sphere with mindfulness, kindness, and a profound spiritual orientation.

The Spiritual Heartbeat of SelfHelpster

The SelfHelpster bookstore, a cornerstone of the platform, boasts a rich collection of books that are based on ancient spiritual and wisdom teachings. These books delve into spiritual themes, offering users guidance on mindfulness, meditation, self-discovery, and inner peace.

Users can even earn books for free by referring friends to the app, and by interacting kindly with other users. Rooted in the wisdom teachings of various spiritual traditions, the app provides a platform for individuals to explore and integrate these profound insights into their lives.

A Haven for Mindful Interaction

SelfHelpster’s approach to mindfulness isn’t confined to its content but extends to the very fabric of its online community. Unlike platforms that reward outrage and sensationalism, SelfHelpster encourages users to engage in mindful, empathetic, and supportive interactions.

One of the app’s standout features is the KindCoins system, which incentivizes acts of kindness and positivity within the community. Users earn KindCoins for uplifting comments, supportive messages, and acts of empathy. These KindCoins can then be used to purchase books at the SelfHelpster Bookstore. This approach fosters a culture of mutual support, where digital interactions become an extension of one’s spiritual practice.

Connecting on a Deeper Level

In a world where superficial connections have become the norm, SelfHelpster seeks to rekindle the flames of meaningful human connection. Users are encouraged to share their spiritual journeys, insights, and experiences in a space that’s free from judgment and hostility.

The dialogue on SelfHelpster transcends the mundane and ventures into the realm of the soul. Discussions range from the pursuit of inner peace to the exploration of the interconnectedness of all life. The platform becomes a virtual sangha, a spiritual community where individuals from diverse backgrounds come together in the spirit of unity and growth.

Embracing a New Era of Compassionate Social Media

The launch of SelfHelpster symbolizes a broader societal shift—a recognition that our digital lives need not be at odds with our spiritual well-being. As the digital age continues to evolve, so too does our understanding of what it means to be connected.

SelfHelpster stands as a testament to the possibility of creating a digital landscape where mindfulness, kindness, and spirituality thrive. It invites users to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to explore the wisdom of the ages, and to forge authentic connections.

As we embrace this new era of mindful social media, we are reminded that the digital realm can be a place of transformation, growth, and spiritual enrichment. SelfHelpster is more than an app; it is a reflection of our collective aspiration to infuse the world with the timeless values of the human spirit.

It will be available for download during the first week of October 2023. You can learn more and join the waiting list on SelfHelpster.com

Through this launch, we find hope for a future where technology and spirituality coexist harmoniously.

“There is no greater service we can do for the world than to know ourselves. Most social media platforms, with their tendency towards sensationalism and conflict, actually make this harder. That’s why I wanted to build an app, specifically designed to help people look within and support each other in life’s inner journey.”

Russell has many years of experience in building networks and communities for personal and spiritual growth and SelfHelpster is a culmination of this work.
