The baptism of the Holy Ghost is as vital to a Christian as oxygen is to man. Without the Holy Ghost, no child of God can live a victorious life on this earth. It is through the Holy Spirit that the things of the kingdom of God are given to the children of God on earth.
Opening Prayer
Ask God to open your eyes to be able to understand what Holy Ghost baptism is all about so that you can be able to take delivery of all that God has in stock for you through the Holy Ghost.
Paul prayed for the Ephesians church in Ephesians 1:17-18:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Until the eyes of our understanding are lightened, we can’t take delivery of our inheritance in the kingdom of God.
I pray the Holy Spirit of God enlighten your eyes of understanding to see what God packaged into the Holy Ghost for you and me in the name of Jesus Christ.

UNDERSTANDING HOLY GHOST BAPTISM?
Holy Ghost baptism is the empowerment of the sons of God for the manifestation of the life of God to the benefit of mankind.
The demonstration of the life of God in the children of God is the responsibility of the Holy Ghost. One who is not Baptist with the Holy Ghost cannot manifest God.
That doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t have God resident in him or her. No! He or she does have the Spirit of God in him or her but the expression of the indwelling God for the good of humanity is the responsibility of the Holy Ghost.
For an illustration
After one has qualified as a medical doctor, such a person has become a doctor. He can be addressed as a doctor. However, his identity as a medical doctor is only limited within the circle of those who knew he studied medicine.
To prove to those who aren’t aware that he is a doctor, he needs a platform to express his new identity as a medical professional.
That is what Holy Ghost baptism does for a Christian. It is a platform from where a Christian expresses himself as a child of God.
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Luke 24:49 (KJV)
Jesus said to his disciples, “but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high.” Stay in the city of Jerusalem. Don’t go anywhere no matter what until you are endued with power from on high.
Without the Holy Ghost, no Christian can do the will of God.
Jesus himself said in John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
You can’t do anything as a child of God until you are Baptist with the Holy Ghost. Any attempt to do the things of the Spirit without the empowerment of the Holy Ghost either ends in frustration or in failure.
WHY IS HOLY GHOST BAPTISM INDISPENSABLE TO A CHRISTIAN?
A Christian once told me that Holy Ghost baptism is no longer for our generation. He went further to tell me that the things people say when speaking in tongues are gibberish.
That is his level of understanding. I was once in that class until I received the Holy Ghost.
There are things we never understand until we experience it ourselves first hand.
Holy Ghost baptism is so indispensable that Jesus Christ himself couldn’t manifest until he was Baptist with him.
Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. 23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

For thirty years of Jesus life on earth, he did nothing worthy a son of God. Jesus can be said to have been stagnated for thirty years.
Maybe you are not aware that Jesus was born of the Holy Ghost.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Not only was Jesus born of the Holy Ghost, he had a prophecy of an enviable future. But for thirty good years, Jesus Christ the son of God born of the Holy Ghost with the most enviable of all destinies was forgotten in one village as a carpenter.
And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

For thirty years, no one knew that the son of God was on earth. His identity as a son of God was only known within the circle of his families.
However, after being Baptist with the Holy Ghost, the Bible said, he returned in the power of the Holy Ghost of which he has been Baptist. He didn’t return with the power of the Holy Ghost. He returned empowered by the Holy Ghost to manifest the son of whom he was.
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

The Jesus who was forgotten as a carpenter in a village in Jerusalem returned empowered to express the Father that was in him since birth.
What happened?
His fame went throughout the land.
He entered into the synagogues, as his custom was to read and teach the people he was given the book of I Isaiah. But when he opened it something happened.
He saw what he has never seen in that book. The Bible said, “he found the place where it was written,” It has been there all along but it was never revealed to him until he was Baptist with the Holy Spirit.
After that discovery, he recovered his destiny that was stagnated for thirty years.
You can’t recover until you discover.

It is vital to point out that Jesus was first a son of God before he was Baptist with the Holy Ghost. New birth or born again is a qualification for Holy Ghost baptism.
If you are not born again, you can’t be Baptist with the Holy Ghost. To be born again, say the following prayer of salvation with me from the depth of your heart with all sincerity.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Oh Lord God, I believe with my entire hearth in your son Jesus Christ. I believe He died for me and You raised Him from the dead. I believe He is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from today. Through Him and in His name I have eternal life.
I am born again. Thank you, Lord. I am now a child of God. Praise God!
