We have seen how man got his first life and the effect. We have also seen how he lost that life. Here we are going to be looking at what Born again really mean.
THE SECOND BIRTH (BORN AGAIN)
Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

It takes born again to gain access into the kingdom of God. Until one secures access into the kingdom of God, he cannot see what goes on there neither can such a person partake of the blessings of the kingdom of God. Admission into the kingdom of God is the first step to enjoying whatever the kingdom of God has to offer.
Born again is the only process through which man can gain access into the kingdom of God. Good works don’t take a man to heaven. If good works do take men to heaven, Cornelius would have been the first man.
There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

“… he shall tell you what you ought to do”, the angel concluded. There is one thing you ought to do before the rest can count.
Imagine a man who attends lectures and make the best of scores in test and exam but who was never given admission. His academic exploit will never count beyond the appraisal of his fellow students and probably lecturer.
Men may acknowledge your good works, but until you are born again God doesn’t. It sounds cruel, I agree with you. In fact I myself use to be upset too but that is God’s procedure. If you must join God, you must follow His procedure.
Born again is what takes a man from the realm of the physical to that of the spiritual. It moves a man from the earthly realm to the heavenly realm. It is the dissolution of man’s earthly nationality and the conferment of heavenly nationality on man.
It is a man being impregnated with the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God coming to dwell in man as a house. Man becoming a carrier of divine presence. Man housing God.
The question, therefore, is how can one be born again?
Nicodemus was the first man to ask this question in John 3:4. Nicodemus said unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?
Jesus replied saying, to be born again means to be born of water and of the Spirit.
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus said born of water not born in water and of the Spirit. The phrase born of water connote that the nature of the water was passed to the one it gave birth to. That means, becoming one with the water and the Spirit.
What is this water Jesus was talking about?
It is written,
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
1st John 5:7-8
The three things that agree in heaven are the same things that agree on earth. The Father is the Spirit (John 4:24), the word is the water (Ephesians 5:26), and the Holy Ghost is the blood (Leviticus 17:14, John 6:63), the life career of God.
The Father is the Spirit, the water is the word of God that carries the Spirit of God, and the Holy Spirit is the life career of God. The life of the Spirit is carried by the Holy Ghost.
The water Jesus was talking about in John 3:5 is the water of the word that carries the Spirit of God (the Holy Ghost). And the Spirit of God carries the life of God – John 6:63.
It is the water of the word of God that initiates the second birth (born again) before the Spirit of God in the word give birth to the individual.
1st Peter 1:23, says “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.” Without the seed of the word of God sown, second birth (born again) cannot take place. The word of God must first be heard before the Spirit of God in it can give birth to the hearer I.e. give him life.
What does it mean to be born again?
Jesus said except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God – John 3:3. Except the Spirit of God re-enters a man as He did enter Adam in Genesis 2:7, the man cannot see the kingdom of God.
Born again (second birth) is the re-entrance of the Spirit of God in man. It is this Spirit of God in man that reconnects him to His maker (God) and His kingdom.
That is, except a man is reconnected to God he cannot see the kingdom of a God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:6-8
So is everyone that is born of the Spirit – Born again. Everyone born of the Spirit of God is born again. Everyone born again is born a spirit. Every born again is a spirit.
The Spirit of God is the custodian of the kingdom of God. “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” (Matthew 12:28)
Born again is the re-birth of the Spirit of God in man

The Spirit of God at the new birth re-enters into a man and re-born his soul (the human spirit) and his body. It is crucial we know that the Spirit of God does not only re-born our human spirit (soul) alone, He also re-born our body.
The spirit of God re-enters into a man and reconnects both your spirit (soul) and his body to God.
The scriptures made us to understand that, if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you (us), he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your (our) mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (us). - Romans 8:11.
This is real; the Spirit of God that raised Christ from the dead has the capacity to recreate our mortal body as well as to sustain it from dying. This is the beginning of the eternal life that God promised us through Jesus. We are not getting that eternal life in heaven. The experience starts here on earth.
By the Spirit of God in you, you cannot be sick and if you are already sick, He heals you without stress. You say pastor you mean with all the viruses and bacteria all over the places? I tell you something they were there all along with Adam in the Garden of Eden but could not hurt him because of the indwelling Spirit of God in him.
The scriptures say, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Cor 5:17.
It doesn’t matter how long the old has lasted or how much destruction it has brought. The scriptures said, …Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; - Romans 10:6-8. Don’t worry yourself how these things will be. Your only responsibility is to first get the Spirit of God through the new birth.
Born again is a spiritual vaccine that prevents both spiritual and physical diseases.
By the re-entrance of the Spirit of God that raised Christ from the dead, your soul shall not only be re-born your body shall also be reborn in Jesus name.
God said to me this is the essence of born again. A rebirth of all that man has lost, from the soul all through to the flesh.
You cannot have the Spirit of life (God) and be dying. Therefore, by his truth, I command every dying organ in your body through the Spirit of the living God that gives life to be re-born right now in the name of Jesus Christ. This Spirit of God entered into a mass of molded dust through the breath of God (Genesis 2:7) and all the organs of Adam were born including his soul (the human spirit). As the Spirit of God enters into you through this word today ( And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet - Ezekiel 2:2) I decree full restoration of your health in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is important to note that until one is born again, he cannot have the Spirit of God that recreates and gives life to all things.

I am born again. Thank you, Lord. I am now a child of God. Praise God!

Father, we thank you for these ones whom you have re-born into your kingdom by your Spirit. And because your Spirit gives life to everything it enters. I decree, every dead or dying organs in their bodies re-born right now in the Name of Jesus Christ. When the rod of Moses on which the breath of God had come upon through the word of God confronted the rods of pharaohs magicians (Exodus 7:12), it swallowed them all. In the same way, I decree all death in your bodies swallowed up by the Spirit of God that resides in you through the new birth in the name of Jesus Christ.
You are made whole in Jesus name. Amen!

If you are born again, you live right in heaven. However, your use of anything is limited by your understanding of it. No matter how much of aerodynamics you know and understand, your use of the handset with you right now is limited to your understanding of it. In fact, a little kid may know more of the handset in your hand than you do. Yet you may be the best professor of aerodynamics in the world. What are we saying in essence? That you are born again doesn’t mean you have exhausted all the benefits of this mystery. God has sent me to open your eyes to the blessings packaged in this mystery for your good.
