Welcome back in my portal, and here I am going to discuss very important topic which is “Raja Yoga” in Vedic astrology system, and I know very well these days almost each one is looking raja Yoga in their horoscope (specially youngsters), and wants to know whether do they have any raja yoga in their birth chart or not??
Or Whether they will be a Wealthy Personality ever???
Well, wealthy personality depends on multiple factors, but if question is related to availability of raja yoga’s so my answer is “Yes”, Each horoscope having almost 60+ good or bad yoga along with 10 major raja yoga’s, But as I have written in my previous articles that Raja yoga has no guarantee, So why do I say like that, today I am going to clarify that point and also going to resolve your all queries related to raja yoga formation and manifestation.
I hope you peoples liking my previous articles, and i hope you are going to enjoy this article too, as here again I am going to tell something different in my own way.
And maximum are lost in these life mazes only, they don’t know what should they do, Even sometime finding no way, As each one having their own life pattern decided by destiny (Based on once Karma), each one has to find their life purpose and have to finish their life goal. So in these confusing life mazes "raja yogas" act like a very supportive factor, And each one desire to have these support in their life.
Note – Life mazes means unexpected turns of life.
As far as I know Having Raja yoga in birth horoscope is like buying an insurance policy, where output has been shown as big returns however when you claim that policy then company applying several hidden terms and conditions and only rare peoples getting full/partial returns.
Same happening with astrology yogas, there are so many big Yogas in astrology Granth (Classical Ancient Books) and results are mentioned in classics are very alluring but when time comes for result so instead of "raja yoga" person gets -
Sages has narrated more than 1000+ Yoga's (Good, bad and mixed) in astrology system (BPHS, Jaimini, Jaataka Parjata etc.) along with their outputs, however now time has been changed and in modern time maximum combinations does not work in same way (We can’t say does not work, but my aim to say “their meaning and impact on human life has been changed”).
See basically till now several hidden reasons I have found during my small journey in astrology, first of all so many Mughal emperors, British rulers attacked on India and almost destroyed Indian culture and ancient Granth (Classics), otherwise India were always ahead of all countries (Even till today we are ahead from all other countries in matter of knowledge).
Second reason is, All the ancient classics were narrated in Sanskrit language and Sanskrit is very limited word (Narrow) language however that limited words has been translated by many different peoples in their own language with their own included mind.

So overall, we can’t guarantee that whatever we are reading is complete knowledge of Astrology, May be maximum portion of granth either we have lost or never got translated (Or May be god knows full truth).
So, as I said, life of a person is like a maze, and there are several branches in it, each one is busy to find their life purpose or just busy to fulfill their aim or needs, those have born in rich family so life seems little easy for them as they don't face financial issues, however those have born as lower or middle class, their life is biggest challenge -
As Everyone knows, Life of the person is associated with Dharma, Eartha, Kaam and Moksha (4 types of Purusharth of human life) and during lifetime each one has to follow three only (Dharma, Earth, Kaam) because moksha comes after death and only possible when your deeds are up to the mark which means if you have fulfilled your wish (Kaam) and have earned Eartha (Wealth & Propriety) by using Dharma (Religious path).
But in Kaliyuga its merely a definition because biggest truth of Kaliyuga is “Behind every fortune there is a crime“ and main point is, it does not mean peoples don’t know meaning of Dharma, Earth, Kaam or Moksha and even each one want to follow it, but destiny not allowing them to follow all, because they have to pay back for their misdeeds (That’s why its Kaliyuga), no one knows when your past deeds start trapping you and destiny creates that situations from where no one can escape.
In Modern time, Each one calculating luck by the money only, Because overall money is another god on this earth, If you have money, world will regard you as a winner of life, however money less people known as beggar, because feelings or relations having no value in front of money, Even your parents and spouse will start kicking your ass when you will stop earning, That’s the main reason almost 80 % world population committing sins for money only.
These days’ relations are losing value because money comes in between, as its biggest need of human life, so nothing should be wrong in professional life as far as horoscope is concern.
We are living in Kaliyuga however human life journey has started from Sat yuga, Later Treta Yuga then Dwapar Yuga and finally worse Kaliyuga has started, Satyuga was Purna (complete) satvik Yuga (Sinless time) where even common man can see god easily, So it would be better if we starting our discussion from Treta Yuga, however since Satyuga life was not same as in modern time.
Note - Kali Yuga is the last of the four stages the world goes through as part of the cycle of maha yugas (Time) described in the Sanskrit scriptures.
Or you can say it was time of Ruler, Emperors, kings and their kingships as they were taking care of their peoples (Janta), however even local and common peoples having different life style in that time and even meaning of luxury was different -
Note – Youngsters are quite confused in among these words “Ruler, King and Emperors” but all three are bit same words but holds different meanings, as in ancient time kings means wealthy person with small kingdom, however emperor & Rulers words are biggest form of kings (Means one who rules major area and having vast army (a real richest valorous personality).
In ancient time, anyone who owned many horses, Carts, Elephants were known as richest, rest common public were serving these rich peoples (kings) as servant or as a part of army.
And situation was almost same from Satyuga to Dwapar Yuga (Till Shri Krishna Was Alive), Kaliyuga time was started when lord Krishna left the world.
Time were updating itself and world was facing transformation, as till 18th century Kings and other such system were existing in world, however post 18th century, time has started transforming itself into digital world, and technologies has started entering in to the human life.
However, with the time, kings, Ruler & emperors has also been replaced by political leaders, sportsman, celebrities etc.
Now successful persons known as rich, wealthy and celebrities in present time.
Overall great transformation happened after 19th century as if world is changing then assets will also change, and as I said digitalization has started and entered in modern life which has changed living style of human being totally.
Previously measurement of property and other assets was different like it was basis on lands, horses, carts, bulls, elephants, donkey (Overall Number of animals), So in previous time if anyone having many horses or elephants were considered rich and wealthy, however poor people’s using donkey and bull karts for their work, but all these things got vanished day by day and modern things has taken their places like –
Yes, In ancient time people using donkey (Poor people those couldn’t afford horses) to move one place to another but in modern time people (Poor’s) owns bicycle instead of donkey.
Note – People living outside of India might be thinking that people using bicycle for exercises also, however I would like to let them know that people (those can’t afford bike and cars etc.) in India still use bicycle for transportation, So I am using this point in terms of affordability(not telling uses of bicycle).
Even bull karts etc has also been replaced by trucks and tractors (One form of automobiles used in agriculture industry) and other goods carrying vehicles –
In old times, peoples using donkey and bull kart as transportation of goods from one place to another place.
Now let’s discuss public transportation of old time,
In ancient time, Wealthy peoples using horses to go one place to another, so in modern time such transportation has been replaced by bikes –
Even horses still exist but you can found them in race courses as they are no more part of modern transportation now, and there were also several varieties of horses which has been replaced by various motor bikes, even horse cart which were used for multiple person journeys, has been replaced by Auto Riskshaw, Taxi and even car cabs –
Even Kings and Emperors were using elephant for their luxurious transportation however queens were using Paalki’s, however all modern kings and emperors are using cars as luxurious transportation –
However, varieties of old luxurious transportation have also been replaced by varieties of cars.
As of now we have reached till 2017 and I have described ancient to modern time updation till 2017, But what after 50-100 years when time is again going to update itself and when there will be no cars and no bikes, then what will be mode of transportation???
Even why just 50 or 100 years, let’s go bit more ahead and can you image what will be mode of transportation after 200 or 500 years later???
I know above image look like bit fictional, but who can predict future technology, if we are moving 400-500 years back when Mughal emperors were ruling India, (Take an example of Mughal King Akbar) in that time if someone telling Akbar that 400 or 500 year later people will use touch screen mobiles, google map to find addresses, will use flights to cross the ocean, will communicate through emails, will be able to talk anywhere in world within a seconds, will use Video callings, and ATM machines to deposit and withdraw money, then Akbar along with his intelligent friend Beerbal will start itching their skulls.
And yes this transformation has already started, soon just after 20-25 years hypersonic technology will take over all Air Journey which will change entire system as at present if you are travelling India to USA so by air it takes minimum 20-25 hours however after hypersonic technology implementation it will take just an hour, Apart from this Japan has already tasted flying cars (You can watch videos on you tube for this), At present we are just living and using 5-10% power of real technology, We can’t even think about modern word (after 400-500 yrs).
And only biggest drawback of modern future is “Me & U both will not be alive to watch that complete Digital future”. LOL
I know you might be thinking that, why I am portraying history of 5000 yr back here and why connecting it with modern future, and how it is related to astrology???
So, guys, all the ancient astrology Granth’s including BPHS was written 5000 yr back by Indian Sages and when we know that time has been changed, so why are we still using same old language or terms of ancient astrology till now????
Even whatever we have researched as a part of modern astrology will be old again after 400-500 yrs, because if after 500 year anyone (Astrologer) will be predicting like “This planetary combination will give you multiple cars” then peoples will start laughing on that astrologer because till that time cars, bikes, planes etc would be old terms and even will be vanished with time.
I hope you will understand why I have written so much about previous history.
If everything has changed so much then why not astrology???
Let’s start discussing on astrological parameters now –
In Vedic astrology, Various planetary combination has been described as yoga where as Good combination known as Raja Yogas and Bad combinations known as Duryogas (Bad Yogas).
“How Raja yoga forms in the horoscope”???
Basically “When two good planets associate with other, forms a yoga in birth chart”.
Each yoga has its own importance and way of influencing life because as I said it all depends on kind of association of involved planets.
Let’s describe meaning of “Association” in astrology yoga’s to understand it in more clear way –
As far as I know, there are four types of association has been described in astrology system to grab the results from raja yoga’s and these are -
I – Mutual Exchange – When two planets are involved in sign exchange with each other known as first rate association of two planets.
This is considered as complete association (Purna Yoga or Full Yoga), Hence two planets exchanging their signs which means they are forming one complete association which will certainly affect your life doubtlessly, because effect of such yoga comes by birth as any complete yoga is never depends on Dasha and always activated by birth, Even if you are not getting Dasha of these planet in your life then too events related to these planets will come into your life, however nature of planet and their role in horoscope will describe whether they will bestow auspicious things or planning to give you pain, Basically this Sambandh also known as Parivartan yoga (Life changing yoga) because they are capable enough to change your life from good to bad or bad to good in any phase of life (Depends on involved planets).
2 – Mutual Conjunction – When two planets sitting together in a particular house of birth horoscope and closely associated (Degree wise).
Yes, Degree has vital role in conjunction, Actual conjunction happens at same degree of both the planets, more degree gap makes effect lesser of the conjunction however result of such yoga comes with Dasha and after certain maturity level.
Like an example, your father won’t give you a car to drive at the age of five because he knows you are not capable to drive in such a small age.
3 - Mutual Aspect – When two planets sitting opposite to each other and aspecting each other via 7th aspect (Here 7th aspect will be considered more powerful than special Drishtis because 7thaspect is only called full Drishti) or getting connected via special Drishtis.
These types of association are required an equal effort to get output and mostly showing effect in second part of life (after 30-35).
4 – One Way Relation – One planet is associated with another planet but that other planet is not associated with first planet, Like Mars in 10th house and Saturn is in 5th house so Mars will aspect Saturn via its 8th aspect but Saturn has no relation with Mars.
This is just signifying an influence of one planet into another which is affecting nature of planet, however this is not powerful due to one way contribution.
So whenever two good planets causing first type of association (Exchange) then it is Best Yoga.
Note – Good planet is not always meaning benefics only, lords of two good houses can also be good planet (that depends and may be basis of ascendant to ascendant).
When two good planets involved in second type of association (Conjunction) then it is better but less from first one.
When two good planets involved in third type of association (Via 7th Aspect on each other) then it is good yoga but less from 1 & 2.
Overall First one is Best, second (Mutual Conjunction) is better, third one (Mutual Aspect on each other) is Good and fourth one (One way connection) is considered as weakest connection between two planets and less effective.
Like if two Dhan lords are involved in first type of association then they will make best Dhan yoga, but in conjunction they will be better but bit less… more lesser with 3rd and 4th too….!!!!
Apart from association, there are few more yoga has been narrated in many ancient grantha’s like –
Sun Yogas – Based on an association and placements of the planets around or with Sun also known as solar combinations.
Example – Veshi yoga, Vashi Yoga, Ubhaychari Yogas.. etc…
Moon Yogas - Based on an association and placements of the planets around or with Moon also known as lunar combinations.
Example – Sunapha, Anapha, Durudhara… etc..
Maha Purusha Yogas – Placement of five Major planets into their own or exaltation sign in Kendra houses.
Naabhasa Yogas – Based on few Akrities (symbol) in the sky also known as celestial combinations.
Other Popular Yogas - which has no name and formed by certain planetary placement in certain house or by the help of one or more planets.
Duryogas -There are certain planetary combinations which are known as malefic Yogas (Bad Yogas).
Overall good yoga will be beneficial however bad Yogas will be harmful.
However, after association of two planets or for others yoga’s too (those are formed by sign, house placements like Luminary Yogas, Nabhasha Yogas, Maha Purush Yogas etc.) there are certain parameters has been described in Vedic astrology systems to evaluate real strength and capability of raja yoga giving planet -
So, let’s discuss about those parameters which are mandatory to evaluate Yogas....
1 – Good placements of Raja yoga giving planet in lagna (D-1) and other Vargas chart (especially in D-3, D-9, D-10, D-60).
Note – House placement of the planet is primary IMP to judge auspiciousness of the Raja yoga, if house placement can’t be good then yoga can’t be good, because even good yoga in bad houses giving results after severe painful situations which maximum peoples don’t realizes and even in few cases such availability having no meaning.
2 – Strength and Power of planets which are based on Shadbaland other Non Shadbal factors.
