Hello friend, I decided to write something quite unique today. I want you to know that you can never enjoy a positive and fulfilling Christian life if you keep allowing worries; Fear and negativity get a hold of your mind. As a matter of fact, worries, negativity, fear, offense, anger, unforgiveness or bitterness will open up the doorway to the enemy and you will pay dearly for it.
The scripture says we are destroyed not because we have money, a good job, or accommodation; it’s says “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).We need to understand that we are created with a will and decision making power. We must come to that self realization that the power vested on us in the beginning of creation gives us the cutting edge over our adversary the Devil.
As we keep journeying through life on daily basis, there are tons of thoughts that bombards our mind and we have the right to choose which one of them to accept or cast down or throw aside and forget about completely.
The devil works with his demon called fear a lot. Most times he is trying to get you to be afraid for no reason, he flashes thought of failure, lack, ill health, abnormality, and you just name it. If you fail to cut off this kind of thoughts, believe me, you will start acting on them.
Whatever you allow to dominate your heart will definitely come to pass. Faith and Fear both bring to pass the desires of our heart. I believe you must have heard of Job so well in the scriptures, he was an upright man that fears the Lord. He eschewed evil but I discovered that the devil was able to have access to him because fear was resident in his mind. “The thing that I feared the most has come upon me” he said.
It is worthy to note that the enemy cannot mess with us as he wills if we don’t give him the license to do so. He needs your permission, he needs you to authorize him but the only way he can get this from you on a cheap is that he has to first deceive you. He has powers no doubt but his power is nothing compared to what we have. His grasp over you will be completely limited only if you deny him audience. He lie’s a lot no doubt but the truthyou know (John 8:32) will make him flee right before your very eyes.
You seriously need to cross examine your thought pattern. You should ask yourself, what have I been thinking lately. If you ask the right question, you will get the right answer. Be true to yourself, be honest and sincere. You will realize that what you are thinking about most times will not in any way add value to your life.
The scripture admonishes us to constantly meditate on things that are pure, things that are lovely, things that are wholesome, things that are true, things that are honest, things that are of good report.
Think every day on the things that build your life and not the things that will bring your life to zero.
The devil wants to break your defense completely; he wants to be the stronghold over your life. He seriously wants you as his bragging right in the presence of God. The only way he can achieve is aim without moving a muscle is for him to install his software of negativity in your mind.
I have seen a few things the devil can do; and I have taking so much pain building a fortress in my MIND. I encourage you to do the same because you hold the ac.
