Government MP George Christensen posted this image on Facebook
An insensitive Australian MP has been blasted for posting a photo online that showed him aiming a gun and asking:
"Do you feel lucky, greenie punks?"
The government MP, put the photo on Facebook on Saturday.
The Greens party said the conservative MP's post was "disgraceful", considering that it came in the same week that 17 people died in a US school shooting.
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) made it clear it was evaluating the post. Political opponents accused Mr Christensen of encouraging violence.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has also waded in by saying the post was "very inappropriate."
