Do we use life wisely, every minute we have? Probably not to the fullest right, we are lazy, it's part of the flaw within humans. Sometimes we just don't face the day because we're too scared to see what will come, worrying about what could possibly go wrong and not facing it with joy and excitement for everything that could go right. Think about a student going to class. Some days, they are excited and cannot wait for that one debate they'll discuss in class. However, most days, it's a class, it's slow, the professor can be dry, you're tired, you have to get there, to be alert, to function. Your mind starts to come up with the many things that pull you away from any form of excitement to face what's right in front of you. The student becomes lazy of Spirit. How often are we lazy in Spirit when it comes to facing our life, living in faith?
Today's Gospel states:'As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the Kingdom of God was to appear immediately. He said therefore, "A nobleman went into a far country to receive a kingdom and then return. Calling ten of his servants, he gave them Ten Pounds, and said to them, `Trade with these till I come.' But his citizens hated him and sent an embassy after him, saying, `We do not want this man to reign over us.' When he returned, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by trading. The first came before him, saying, `Lord, your pound has made ten pounds more.' And he said to him, `Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.' And the second came, saying, `Lord, your pound has made five pounds.' And he said to him, `And you are to be over five cities.' Then another came, saying, `Lord, here is your pound, which I kept laid away in a napkin; for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man; you take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.' He said to him, `I will condemn you out of your own mouth, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow? Why then did you not put my money into the bank, and at my coming I should have collected it with interest?' And he said to those who stood by, `Take the pound from him, and give it to him who has the ten pounds.' (And they said to him, `Lord, he has ten pounds!') `I tell you, that to every one who has will more be given; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.'" And when he had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem'(Luke 19:11-28).
In today's Gospel, we hear how two people make profit from what their master gave them, but one does not. He saves it aside, afraid to step out the door, to take a chance. So many times in life, God is giving us great chances to live, to grow. The one bad conversation you have with your co-workercould be turned into a fruitful enlightenment, for them or for you, as long as you enter it in good faith. Being a person of God isn't meant to be easy, you are meant to be tested each and every day, especially in how you live and act. What we learn though is that if we do our best to act doing God's will, that we will feel the most fulfilled, and be ready to face anything. Take some time to ask God to help you have courage and to stand up in faith.

Today, Oh Lord, I sing praises to Your mighty and powerful name, as You continue to release Your blessings upon me. Help me to be more like You. I need You Lord. Show me the purpose I need to fulfill as I walk on this magnificent creation called earth. This is my prayer, Abba Father, as it is not abundantly clear to me.
Show me the purpose I need to fulfill as I walk this earth.
Mold me and guide me, Almighty God. Steer me in the right direction and show me the path I need to take. Have Your angelic hosts encamp around me.
Lead the way to success, prosperity and most importantly to fulfill the destiny You have in store for me. Help me to build my faith and to know I must be still and know that You are God.

May You Lord be glorified in all I say and do. I know that You are more than able to do far more than I could seeand I thank You that my life is in Your hands.
Thank You Father for directing me as I seek after my purpose in this earthly walk.
