Introducing AJD Babu, Andhra Pradesh, India

I express my esteem with a  heart full of humble greetings in the name of Jesus
Christ to you the most beloved and blessed who is called by Almighty
for his service.

My History: - let me have the privilege to introduce me and my
ministry to you. I am pastor A.J. D. Babu from Dhulipudi, Andrha Pradesh S.India. My Grand father was Hindu; But Jesus called my father through
his sweet voice once and  as a result he took Baptism and converted to
Christianity.

He infused biblical knowledge into me since my
childhood. He died 25 years ago due to hard fasting of 90 days for the
idol worshippers to transform then into Christianity. His unexpected
departure forced me to take up the responsibity of both my family
members, and the Evangelism.

My work and attempt:-trusting Jesus whole heartedly, I ventured into
my father's ways. I have done Bachelor of .theology. A little later I married and got 6
boys and 2 daughters and started living along with My father 's dream
to construct a church in my village but unfortunately; he could not
materialize his long cherished dream.

He couldn’t do it , because
most of our inhabitants are from the Hindu religion. (There aren’t at
even ten percent of people who know about Jesus Christ.) According
to John chapter 14 words 12 by the persuasion of God, I have prayed for
40 days with fasting to see great miracles. During that
time God asked me to read ISAIAH chap 58 words 6 to 12 opening the
bible, I read and I agreed to obey his commands.
Cry loudly, do not hold back;
Raise your voice like a trumpet,
And declare to My people their transgression
And to the house of Jacob their sins.
2 “Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways,
As a nation that has done righteousness
And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God.
They ask Me for just decisions,
They delight in the nearness of God.
3 ‘Why have we fasted and You do not see?
Why have we humbled ourselves and You do not [a]notice?’
Behold, on the day of your fast you find your desire,
And drive hard all your workers.
4 “Behold, you fast for contention and strife and to strike with a wicked fist.
You do not fast like you do today to make your voice heard on high.
5 “Is it a fast like this which I choose, a day for a man to humble himself?
Is it for bowing [b]one’s head like a reed
And for spreading out sackcloth and ashes as a bed?
Will you call this a fast, even an acceptable day to the Lord?
6 “Is this not the fast which I choose,
To loosen the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the bands of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free
And break every yoke?
7 “Is it not to divide your bread [c]with the hungry
And bring the homeless poor into the house;
When you see the naked, to cover him;
And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 “Then your light will break out like the dawn,
And your recovery will speedily spring forth;
And your righteousness will go before you;
The glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
9 “Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
You will cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you remove the yoke from your midst,
The [d]pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness,
10 And if you [e]give yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the [f]desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness
And your gloom will become like midday.
11 “And the Lord will continually guide you,
And satisfy your [g]desire in scorched places,
And give strength to your bones;
And you will be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water whose waters do not [h]fail.
12 “Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins;
You will raise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the breach,
The restorer of the [i]streets in which to dwell.

 I took up the preaching of the gospel as my daily routine.
 Then I saw four orphan kids  half naked
who were fighting to get remnants of food from the garbage bin. Realizing
their hunger I took them  home.

One day I visited the prayer meeting where there were some old women
 and some widows in a very pathetic condition.
They begged for one rupee. This incident really made me
worry a lot. That night I prayed beforeGod calling out to him with tears and
 the next day I took some of them to my house. Soon I have given
 accommodation to all the orphan kids many who were  bereaved of their
 parents due to cyclones,floods and accidents, earth quakes and diseases
 like HIV who were in very miserable conditions.

 I have nothing to feed them on the one hand I have the burden of
evangelism on the other hand . I have the orphan kids
food, cloths and shelter problem .

Though I had no financial background; I courageously started to
build a church. I could only construct the foundation and walls of them.
My saved money finished before putting a roof on  them. It is  2 years
since I stopped building.

Hence I made a make shift church and orphanage at my hut. All Hindus
started mocking  me by saying that Jesus has no power. Some of the
Hindus tore away the pamphlets .which we carried to distribute among
the people and they took away the Bible from us  burned them and
threw away, then caught hold of our collars and beat us . further then
they spit upon me and took away some of the leaves from
the thatched house and set it ablaze..

But I did not get discouraged and change my decision. I
began praying and fasting for this regard. I had a revelation and
Jesus talked to me not to get worried and he would help me. They are
many orphan, widows, cyclone and Tsunami affected people and HIV
patients too. I wish to serve for them more; the house where I live is
leaky and partly damaged. I don’t know when it will drop down. Please
help me construct an orphanage but my monetary problem does not allow
me to do much for them. I distribute pamphlets of knowledge about
Christ among the Hindus.
I am inviting you to visit my church orphanage and my village to see
the real facts and help us in our service to Jesus and his beloved.
 A little support extended by you will save the lives of my family, my
orphan children, my church and my villagers and it will be really a
heavenly blessing for you and your family". You are requested to pray
for us and incase you are not able to help us please recommend my
ministry into the kind consideration of others who can.

I share these things with you. I really do not mean that you should
help me for all these projects. These are all the facts of our
ministry. But I wish you to stretch your hand as the Lord enables. The
little you help us will surely enable us to operate any area of our
ministry successfully. Here our fellow pastors, orphans, churches and
families are sending hearty greetings to you. I wait once again
prayerfully and hopefully for your kind and favorable replies.
Sincerely your servant in the Masters service
Kindly pass my greetings to all who are with you.
Thanking you in His precious name
Yours ever in His eternal bonds
