November, Eh?

I got my flu Shot and Covid booster last week.

Here, we get "invited" rather than asking to have them, so you get a text/email and then use the booking system (although I think there are other ways, perhaps some walk ins and I know at least one person who called and asked.)

So I was going to get the shots on different days but when I went to get my Flu Shot the nurse had two extra Covid shots available and didn't want them to go to waste so I got my booster at the same time.

Did I have side effects or feel anything?  Well yes and maybe?

My arm hurt.  Which I remember from previous shots of course.  It's been about five days now and it's feeling pretty much back to normal with the occasional twinge.  I didn't really sleep the first night as every time I moved my arm went NO THANK YOU so it was a bit of a... not great sleep (which is somehow "easier" when you know "why" you're not sleeping vs just not sleeping.)

Other than the sore arm I can not actually guarantee if I had any side effects.  On Sunday (I think?) I slept in til 10am, which is UNHEARD of for me (for the last chunk of years anyway) but that could be due to a long week or my windows being closed for the coldness (it's been cold y'all) and the outside noises not waking me up?  Or maybe it was the shots?

I've felt maybe a little spacey, but again, is that life or is it a side effect?  Same for being achy a few days after... possibly just age/life/the cold/fighting a bug/having gone to the gym OR..... possibly the vaccinations.  I don't know!  I was sniffly this weekend too but I was sniffly last weekend.  So I think I'll just say I didn't notice any side effects other than a pretty darn sore arm.

So here's to hopefully NOT getting the flu that knocked Jason out for a solid few weeks and then kept him dragged down for a few weeks after that too!
