It's Thanksgiving here today.  (And, honestly, even though I do it, I'm tired of calling it "Canadian Thanksgiving" just because Americans don't call theirs "American Thanksgiving"  It's Thanksgiving.  It's not at the same time as other countries have theirs.  If other countries than we two actually have it!  Anyway... sigh.)

This Weekend has been one of the stranger temperatured Thanksgiving weekends I can think of.

There was a day where it was in the twenties.  And a night when I was too hot to sleep and ended up back with just the sheet, like it was smack dab in the middle of Summer.  It's been... warm.  

We often have days like this in late Summer/Early Fall but somehow this felt warmer than even that.  I've read that at least one record was broken heat wise and the temperature is going to seemingly change now, and clouds and rain will roll in, so I did enjoy the bright sun and the mild wind, but I'm also ok with nights going back to being cooler.  

I had a turkey dinner last night, Jason cooked it for us, and I'm taking some "leftovers" to my parents today since today (Monday) is a day off.  

By the way, I have loved having the last two Mondays off.  There is something very nice about having that extra day and sure I could take a Monday off but it's not the same taking a day off and knowing work is still happening (and you need to sort of catch up on whatever you missed) vs knowing work is not happening and it's really honestly a free day!  It's so nice.  Plus we're still in the "low stress" portion of holiday times.... ahem... looking at you DECEMBER!  Sigh.

So, yeah, a warm warm weekend, we'll see how things go weather wise in the coming days.
