No Jinxing!

I think it's been long enough now that I can say this... (fingers crossed still) but I Repotted most of my plants a while ago and no one has died!  YAAAAAAY!

I have one that I really cut back after I repotted and when I repotted I found weird things and freaked out and removed them before googling a lot and finding out I didn't need to and maybe shouldn't have removed them (did I write about this?  I feel like I did but maybe I only thought I did?) and so that one is having a few struggles but that also may be under or over Watering (it'd be great if an unhappy plant would specify which!)

I also implemented a more regular watering schedule.  Historically I've kind of just... watered whenever and I know plants don't love that and I also know I've killed some before with a good intention (a big heavy soak... sigh) so I figured maybe I'd try a year or so of more consistent watering.

So now I have a note that pops up every Friday to water my plants, but I also keep a better eye on the dampness of the soil and like this last Friday I didn't water some at all and only barely watered others.  I think they're doing ok, although I have seen some little flies around lately which to me suggests I've over watered someone... le sigh.

My neighbour says she waters her Grandmas plants every Friday when she goes to visit and check in on her so that's where I got the idea.  When I asked my neighbour how much water she said er... just enough but not too much?  So you know, I'm still trying to figure it out.  Plus I got a couple of snake plants to go into my darkest corner and I haven't quite figured their watering needs out yet, but also someone gave away some jade type plants and I traditionally over water them but they went through the repotting and new watering process and seem really happy and I'm kind of amazed by that to be honest! (THEY'RE HAVING NEW GROWTH!!!! FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE!)

So yeah, no jinxing things hopefully but so far so good and here's to the weirdness that is bringing the outside in, right?
