Why Do Men Act Like They’re Interested on a Date?

Why do men behave the way that they do? Sometimes we get puzzled and we just want to analyze them. There are so many things we would like to know about them. Men are not like Women and women are never like men. Sometimes their identities collide and some traits merge, but most of the time the sexes have their own traits. Men are always seen as simple species and that they are easy to get but sometimes that is just not the case.

One of the things you’d probably want to know is if why men show mixed signal like why do they seem want to go out with you even if they can’t. I have tried interviewing a few of my guy friends to find out what is the real deal about this issues. I mean I have been burned too before. I have had my fair share of thinking a guy likes me but in the end he was really not. I’ll be a bit satirical here, I just want to vent out how my ego was bruised and broken too. But most of all, I’d want to help those girls out there who have been Waiting for that Prince Charming, who will forever stay mum.

The Thrill of the Chase

Men are creatures of the hunt. Men’s DNA has been programmed to pursue things that they see as interesting, rare and covetable. If a woman seems to be viable and a good prospect, he will really try to Chase her. On the other hand, if she is just like a meat dangling in his face then probably he will be lazy in asking you out since he thinks you’re just always available there. Aside from that it make you seem boring. He gets bored, so he does not pursue you anymore.

Another thing is that he might chase and chase you, then if he never seems to catch you, then he will stop chasing you too. He would eventually get exhausted. If he sees a quarry uncatchable then he will stop running after you. So stop playing hard to get, this is not the eighteenth century anymore for you to be wooed and courted.

I have known this guy who would really make an effort for the girl. He would buy flowers and all that, but I was too busy at that time. We went out on a few dates but there were other guys at that time so I could not focus on him. I thought he was really devoted but in the end he just got tired of waiting for me. Well he’s married now and I’m over that.

Some Men Just Want to Flirt

Flirting is fun. Let’s admit it. The attention we get from the first meeting is just addictive. The giddy feeling from Flirting is such a good feeling that some men feel that they can’t get enough of it. They will flirt with anyone and EVERYONE. We would say it’s kind of unfair but this is a reality. It is a harmless way to get those feel good hormones in your system. Men do it, women do it. It’s just that some do it more because they get so into the flirting game.

If the boy you are eyeing is known to be a flirt, then give up. He might really be into you and he might really want to date you but if he just flirts and flirts then he just might not be into really going out with you. You may risk it, and ask him out. But just be prepared to be turned down because he just might say no or laugh at your face.

He Found Out Something About You That He Did Not Like

Let’s face it, some people put their best foot forward when they present themselves in the world. Being real all the time is the deal here. Men hate fakes and liars. If you hate his friends and pretend to like them or if you pretend to like PlayStation or something then he finds out then he would just not go out with you anymore. No one likes to be fooled.

He might also find out that you have very little in common and don’t want to waste time going out with you when he already know that you guys won’t click. Being able to share something is something important to guys and they feel that a girl is really interesting beyond her looks when she has a great personality that would mesh well with his.

On Conclusion

Men may be complicated for us women. But they are just pretty simple. They normally mean what they say and show it. But sometimes don’t read too much into the situation. But if you feel that you really like a guy, why not take the lead. We are no longer hampered by social standards that men are the only ones to ask out a girl. Come to think of it, in Japan, it is the women who give men chocolates on Valentine’s Day! Cut your losses short and just ask him out, if he says no then move on. I mean it would hurt like hell or would be embarrassing but it is better than waiting and waiting for something that you’d never know when it would come.
