We like football

We spend more time outside of the football season than in it, the great pain of this brutal sport. It is transient and fickle, and when the time comes to return to the game, there’s no small number of platitudes and exaggerations that come with the incident.

Anyway, the Podcast is back to season as well. With the looming match against the San Francisco 49ers, there’s a lot to break down on the Detroit Lions. We’ve got a season rant, we’ve got the State of the Pride to recap how things have gone for the Lions, plus we’ve got a comprehensive preview on the upcoming game itself.

This season brings a number of questions that the preseason has yet to answer. How will Jared Goff fair under center? What will this defense look like against real competition? Who is going to actually step forward from the wide receiver corps? We try to answer these questions and point to keys in the 49ers game that might help us further illuminate as the season unfolds.

This is our sixth Lions season under the PODcast banner, and each year we’ve found a larger community listening to our show. There’s more content than ever striking our feed, so I don’t know what else I can do to tell you to subscribe.
