Have a little fun with some coachspeak cliches.

The Detroit Lions will introduce Matt Patricia as their next head coach on Wednesday around 3 p.m. ET. It’s sure to be a fun event that will likely instill a swelling of hope and optimism across the fan base. We’ll get an opportunity to hear Patricia speak on the team for the first time at length instead of dodging questions like he did all Super Bowl weekend. We’ll get a chance to hear what some of his plans are for the future. And maybe best of all, we’ll finally get to see him out of the Patriots’ red and into the Lions’ Honolulu Blue.

But in terms of actual information from these press conferences, chances are pretty low we’ll get anything valuable from Wednesday’s presser. These events tend to be a glorified pep rally filled with cliched statements and tired questions.

So instead of being cynical and down about it, let’s turn it into a game. Let’s play a round of Introductory Press Conference Bingo!

Unfortunately, we aren’t too familiar with any of Matt Patricia’s catchphrases. As of now, we don’t know of any classics like “check the report” or “things of that nature.” Still, we have a pretty good idea of what he’s going to be asked and what some of his answers will be.
