Who do you think could be in for a big day on Sunday?

The Detroit Lions are favored to win on Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals, and they’ll need to do so to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Bengals (5-9) have looked downright horrible over the past two weeks, being blown out by both the Vikings and the Bears.

The Lions have the opportunity to make it three NFC North teams in a row on Sunday, but traveling on the road is never easy, and Cincinnati will be getting a few key players back: linebacker Vontaze Burfict and running back Joe Mixon.

The Lions have their own share of big players in this game, and some may be in for a big day.

So today’s Question of the Day is:

Which Lions player is going to have a big game against the Bengals?

My answer: Marvin Jones Jr. I know Jones said earlier in the week that going to Cincinnati to play his former team for the first time has no real significance or importance to him, but I’m not sure I believe him. Obviously, he doesn’t want to give the Bengals any bulletin board material, so he’ll tread lightly, but read this quote from MLive and tell me he doesn’t care.

But ask Jones if he believes he could have done more than they allowed him to do in Cincinnati, and the look on his face betrays everything he's trying not to say.

"Uh, I mean," he said, stammering, a smile creeping across his face. "You know, that's for you to say."

Even if Jones doesn’t have any extra motivation on Sunday, his play in 2017 alone proves this could be a big day for him. Jones is 13th in the league with 970 receiving yards and t-seventh in catches of 20+ yards.

With a banged up Bengals secondary and a corps of cornerbacks that have been disappointing this year, this is a great matchup for Marvin Jones Jr. The extra motivation is just a cherry on top.
