Fun Macarons at Mrs. Graham’s Bakery

This is a long overdue post, but I just couldn’t find the heart to just leave it in the back burner. These Macarons are so creative, they ought to be shared.

The brainchild behind Mrs. Graham’s Bakery is a high school batchmate of mine, Anna Graham. She started small with bazaars and home orders, and back then, I was already tempted to purchase from her. I’m not much of a macaron person but her macaron flavors are crazy ambitious: Peanut Butter & Jelly, S’mores, Bibingka, and more! Nope, they are not your typical macarons.

Without telling Anna, I dropped by Mrs. Graham’s Bakery 3x before she finally caught me red handed with a macaron in hand. Today, whenever I’m touring a friend around the Tomas Morato area, I always bring them to this bakery. In my opinion, macarons are quite expensive desserts, but I do not have much qualms when it comes to Mrs. Graham’s macarons since they pack a punch despite their size.

Bailey’s, Salted Caramel, Tequila Rose, Smores

Smores, Cookie Dough, Pancake with Maple Buttercream, White Coffee

Mrs. Graham’s macarons do not just come in their usual delicately wafer thin exterior and creamy filling; they also contain the actual french toast, pancake, or toasted marshmallow. Theirs are definitely showstoppers and yet they still carry the integrity of a perfect macaron: flat, smooth shiny shell, decadent filling, fudgey interior, and matching sized shells. I highly recommend their S’mores and Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Mrs. Graham’s is not just a macaron shop. They also carry other desserts, featuring other bakers, carefully curated by Anna.

They also serve the best coffee! Anna’s husband, Mr. Graham, is a huge coffee aficionado so you can be assured of great coffee all the time. On my first visit, I ordered their Butter Beer Latte (Php120) thinking I was part of the cast of Harry Potter. Haha.

Anna is truly a creative soul. Her shop’s interiors are peppered with her arts and crafts. Check out her massive macaron lights. Aren’t they adorable?

The atmosphere here is so cheerful, you’d want to hang around and play the in-store board games to pass the time.

When you find yourself in the Tomas Morato Area, do have dessert in Mrs. Graham. You’ll definitely love it!
