This Weekend was a series of wonderful, blissful and even little happy moments, as we spent the weekend with a bit of rest and relaxation on the Isle of Angelsey.

The past 48 hours were filled with the soul fueling good stuff.  The weekend was Filled with stunning vistas,  green spaces, rolling hills, somewhat busy beaches and incredible sunsets. It was a very much needed breath of fresh air. To unplug and recharge in the same moment.

The good stuff.

And as it is Memorial Day in America, its important to take a moment to pause and give gratitude for those who have served in the American military.  I am always humbled by the sacrifice of those in the military and their families.  (Thank you.)

This past week was filled other little moments that made me smile, or at least jot them in my gratitude journal.

• Spending time alongside the river in Chester
• Being surprised by Neal with a lovely American style breakfast for dinner
• Facetime session with my Mom to help her plan their UK trip
• Hitting my step goal without even trying

The everyday can be so wonderfully lovely, if we keep our eyes peeled.

Weekly Affirmation…

How are you finding meditating on affirmations? I am loving having the reminder pop up on my calendar twice a day, to give me a moment to reflect and give pause.

I am stronger than this challenge.  And this challenge is making me even stronger.

There are changes afoot, and I need to keep reminding myself that any challenges that are on my horizons are within my reach.
