Say hello to The Maverick Guide…

Running The Devon Foodie blog for the past few years has been a truly amazing experience.

We’ve met so many fantastic local businesses and personalities along the way and discovered some of the best places to eat and drink that this wonderful county has to offer.

However, all good things must come to an end…

While writing this blog has been a fabulous pastime, we want to let you know that we are no longer going to be posting on The Devon Foodie. Moving forward, we are going to be putting all of our efforts into making our new venture, The Maverick Guide, a success…

Introducing The Maverick Guide

The Maverick Guide is your curated hit-list of where to eat, drink, shop and explore in the South West. We’ll showcase one-of-a-kind venues, talented artisans and extraordinary experiences to provide you with everything you need to plan your weekend. You can trust us to stay on the pulse and connect you with the brands we think you’ll love.

The first glimpse of our new website…
A taster of our physical guidebook, launching early 2020…

We’ll be offering readers plenty of reviews, guides to the best experiences in Devon and a searchable directory of hotels, restaurants, bars, and venues to plan your weekend. There will even be a regularly updated calendar to keep up to date with what’s happening near to you.

There will also be a physical Maverick Guidebook launching in early 2020 which will include our top recommendations as well as plenty of unique editorial content!

Well be going live very soon, so to keep ahead of the launch you can sign up to our newsletter here: https://mailchi.mp/a0af1e51fbf4/maverick-guide

What now?

You’ll still be able to read all of our past Devon Foodie reviews and roundups on this website as archived posts. However, all of our new content and reviews are going to be uploaded to The Maverick Guide website.

Likewise, you can expect even more Devon food & drink on our Instagram page moving forward. The only difference will be our new handle @maverick.food.  You don’t have to do anything to keep following our page, simply keep enjoying our content on your feed and on Instagram Stories!

You can also find our new Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/maverickguides/

Where will I find out about new venues and the best places to eat in Devon?

Don’t worry, we aren’t leaving Devon behind. We’re simply expanding into new territory and providing you with even more West Country content. That means MORE Devon reviews, MORE venues to explore and new content such as shops, hotels, cookery schools, and roundups.

Thank YOU!

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported The Devon Foodie over the past few years. We’re very much looking forward to working with you all on our next venture and can’t wait to keep singing the praises of this beautiful corner of the world.
