Artisan spirits brand 6 O’clock Gin has announced the purchase and re-launch of Bristol’s iconic Glassboat as an exciting new bar and retail/events space.

The local business, known for its range of gins, will be bringing the taste of 6 O’clock Gin to Welsh Back to offer local residents, workers and visitors the chance to enjoy a selection of G&Ts and gin cocktails. There will be a retail space on board so you can buy a bottle to take home – and the brand will also be hosting events such as gin tastings, cocktail masterclasses and gin blending experiences from their new home.

Paul Sullivan MD of 6 O’clock Gin commented. “We are absolutely thrilled to have purchased the Glassboat, our plan is to retain as many original features as possible while breathing new life into this historic site.
