Sweet news from McDonald’s. Starting September 1, restaurants start serving a sweet addition to the McCafe Bakery line-up. Order the new McDonald’s Glazed Pull Apart Donut for a limited time. They’re poppable bite size balls of donut goodness coated in a sweet glaze. Munch on them one at a time or dip the whole ring of donut bites into some coffee or milk and then eat before the coffee gets cold. So it begs the question, would you share it or keep it all to yourself?

Donut fans need to hurry to try one of these. The McDonald’s Glazed Pull Apart Donut will only be around for a limited time so, as their press release states, “do-nut delay!” The donuts join the existing bakery items like the Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin and Cinnamon Roll.

Don’t forget you can now get MyMcDonald’s Rewards points for the donuts and other purchases from the fast food giant.

Did you know that the Egg McMuffin was the first breakfast item on McDonald’s menus? It came out in 1971. Twenty years later (1991) came the breakfast burritos followed by McGriddles in 2003. In 2009, lattes, cappucinos and mochas dropped across McDonald’s restaurants.
