Mt. Carmel Brewing Company — one of Cincinnati’s most venerable craft breweries — will open a brand-new way to enjoy their beers this week.
Founders Mike and Kathleen Dewery will open the doors to their new Carriage House Taproom at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16.
Mt. Carmel Brewing in 2005, well before the craft brewing scene exploded onto the Queen City’s landscape.

“We can’t thank our loyal customers and dedicated community enough for more than 13 years of support,” the Deweys said in a release.
In keeping with their farmhouse roots, the 7,000 square-foot Carriage House-style taproom sits on the same address where they began — albeit in a much-expanded facility.
The new taproom is situated on seven acres of land, and the Deweys designed it to “encourage all-day porch sitting.”
The new taproom has a from-scratch kitchen and will be open more days during the week with expanded hours. It also features a new outdoor area, more parking, and more indoor seating, as well.

The Carriage House features a large back patio, a second-level deck with views of the newly-landscaped grounds at Mt. Carmel.
The bar at the taproom was also expanded to feature 20 Mt. Carmel Brewing beers, four rotating wines, and cocktails.
The Deweys said the Carriage House will be open year-round, and was designed to also host weddings, holiday parties and other festive events.
