Even with the many boba shops in the Bay Area,  Happy Lemon in Cupertino definitely stands out with their unique drinks! One of their most popular drinks features a cheese foam! It sounds really weird to have a sweet milk tea Drink with cheese foam on the top, but it's so delicious. If you've ever tried milk tea with sea salt foam on the top, you'll definitely fall in love with these cheese foam drinks too. At other places, you need to make a slit in your cup in order to drink the foam drinks correctly, but it's so much more convenient at Happy Lemon, since they have special cups for their foam drinks. To drink it properly, you tilt your cup at around a 45 degree angle, and slowly let the foam mix in with the drink before you drink it. It's the perfect combination of salty and sweet, and sure to make you go back for more.

If you're not really into foam drinks, there's lots of other fruity options available. They have many lemon drinks, to go with the Happy Lemon theme. They use both lemons grown locally in California, and lemons sourced from Taiwan to get a complex sour, citrus-y taste. My favorite is the lemon slush -- their slushes have a really good texture, and are really refreshing to drink. The sweet honey boba topping goes perfectly with these drinks. The taro milk tea and mango matcha are also worth trying.
